Below is a collection of my exploration in Traditional American Flash. A passion for the art form has been growing in me for some time now, mainly inspired by friends who work in the industry. My girlfriend, Erika, encouraged me to pursue my passions by giving me a compilation of Sailor Jerry's original stencils for Christmas.
So far, I have yet to create my own flash, but I have made slight alterations to his originals & am 100% responsible for the color palettes (stencils only come in black linework). I will keep developing my craft further & plan to try watercolor, shading, gray tones & eventually make my own flash. Will I ever tattoo for real? Who knows?
